Now That’s a Storm
After a significant storm, a detectorist explores the beach and uncovers hidden treasures unearthed by the shifting sands, demonstrating the impact of natural events on metal detecting.
Storms, Tides, and Treasure: Silver Blade & Golden Find
Last week we had a good storm roll through. On my first outing after the weather cleared, I made an incredible discovery — a pirate knife, old and crafted from sterling silver with an ivory handle.
Despite its age, the knife is sharp and almost pristine — a real piece of history!
I waited for the tides to shift again and returned to the area. That’s when I uncovered something truly stunning — an 18kt massive diamond horseshoe ring.
The size, sparkle, and uniqueness of this ring make it a standout find.
